Key points of sustainability
We understand that every action we take has an impact on the environment and the society in which we live.
A key principle of sustainable design is to minimise the environmental impact of a product. We aim to achieve it with our design principle of ‘Nothing unnecessary’. We produce furniture by using only the minimum amount of raw materials necessary and increasing the amount of renewable and recycled materials in our products. We focus on the durability of our furniture, thus promoting responsible use of the planet’s resources.
We care about global climate goals. The European Union is committed to reducing emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases (GHG) and becoming a climate-neutral continent. That is our goal as well. To reduce our CO2 emissions, we pay particular attention to using sustainable electricity.
Social well-being is an important aspect of sustainability, which is why we focus on the well-being of both our employees and the community. Employee engagement, health and safety are among the company’s priorities, and we continuously improve these areas through various initiatives. We contribute to the well-being of the community by sponsoring various socially responsible initiatives.
Our Path to Net Zero
To address the realities of climate change, we are committing to a net-zero future. Our aspiration is to transform the way we do business through what we make, how we make it and the ways we deliver it. We are on a path to cut carbon emissions over 90% by 2050 across our entire value chain.

Design for Circularity
On our path to net zero, we support a circular economy by increasing the life cycle of materials in our products and packaging, maintaining their value while also developing innovative solutions for their reuse.

When we provide circular solutions for products at the end of their use, our customers can more easily repair, reuse and recycle.
Rethinking Packaging
We set ambitious goals to eliminate single-use plastics and increase recycled content of our packaging by 2030.
The Power of Possibility
A net-zero future needs us all.
